Hobart’s FXTDS Undercounter Washers Deliver Spotlessly Clean Results at Temperatures that Exceed Guidelines

Thermal Disinfection achieves a high level of cleansing and its use in the Healthcare sector is recommended for the cleaning of eating and drinking utensils, the reprocessing of anaesthetic equipment and apparatus and laundering items such as linen and mop heads. For satisfactory minimum heat treatment a temperature of 82°C should be attained for 2 min.

Simply Genius!

Dishwasher

Hobart is a major supplier to the Healthcare sector, providing some of the most highly specified machines on the market, so you can guarantee that it will have been designed and built following extensive customer research, benchmark testing and innovative technological applications. For instance, the GENIUS X active filter system provides pre-wash and rinsing functions, keeping the wash water much cleaner, helping to deliver consistently clean results. Hobart’s ACCURINSE low volume cold rinse delivers outstanding results with just 2.8 litres of water per cycle. Combined with a compact 10.8 litre wash tank, operating costs can thus be reduced by up to 30%!

Customer feedback indicates that an on-ward dishwasher should be simple to use and have easy to understand controls. The FXTDS delivers on both counts by offering SMARTRONIC; single button activation for filling, cycle start and draining and colour coded sequencing, giving clear indication of machine and cycle status. Additional functions such as cycle selection and temperature indication can be accessed as required. This leads to less risk of incorrect operation and misuse and allows users to concentrate on their main job functions, which can be critical in Healthcare.

The 8 minute cycle ensures thorough cleaning and disinfection of every item in the wash chamber, exceeding the recommended guidelines, making the FXTDS the perfect machine for use in Healthcare. An intensive wash cycle with steam injection, gives a maintained 63°C wash. Then the chamber is filled with pulsed steam, until it reaches 90°C. The chamber is held at over 90°C for 1 minute before the cold rinse cycle begins, cooling the ware temperature for safe handling. The steam condenses inside the chamber and the cycle is complete. Plus, with a chamber height of 425mm, using Hobart stacking racks, double stacking can be achieved, reducing by half the number of wash cycles, and therefore the time taken to wash up on the ward.

Hobart is the benchmark for quality and innovation.
