Bridge Valley Beverage Systems are pleased to announce the recent launch of the UltraKart ward beverage system.
Ultrakart is available in three application based designs:
- Beverage only – In-Cup and/or loose ingredients
- Breakfast and beverage
- Hospitality/mobile coffee solution serving bean to cup or soluble beverage dispensers.
Drawing on over 10 years of experience in the design of ward beverage systems we have listened to NHS Catering and Facilities Managers, and have incorporated many of their ideas and recommendations into the development of Ultrakart. This has resulted in a very versatile trolley that provides solutions to today’s demanding ward environments.
With hygiene and infection control so important, we have raised the ingredient dispensers, water boiler and toast warmer off the worktop. This has “designed out” potential dirt traps and “designed in” ease of cleaning.
Making this simple design change has also increased the available worktop space by 25%, improving the workflow when serving breakfasts.
Trials have confirmed that Ultrakart can demonstrate significant time savings by combining beverage and breakfast rounds, whilst delivering improved patient service.
An innovative toast warming system uses convection to keep toast crisper and warmer for longer, even after Ultrakart has been unplugged from the power source.
As ward requirements change, Ultrakart can be cost effectively adapted to meet new demands. The modular design allows a standard beverage trolley to be upgraded to a fully functional breakfast Ultrakart. Loose ingredient dispensers can be replaced with In-Cup dispensers or vise versa.
Ultrakart can even incorporate chilled and hot food storage!
