HCA National Conference 2012

The Wessex Branch of the Hospital Caterers Association (HCA) invites Members, Patrons, Associates, Suppliers, friends of the Trade and interested parties to join them in April 2012 for the Association’s 64th Annual National Conference and Exhibition, which is being staged within the wonderful landscaped grounds of Wokefield Park, just outside Reading. The HCA Annual National Conference and Exhibition is the premier annual event for healthcare catering managers, hotel services and facilities professionals and suppliers.

Taking inspiration from the London Olympics and the challenge that so many Olympians are preparing to take, the 2012 Conference theme is ‘Accept the Challenge – Feed the Future’.

Hopefully, as you will have gleaned from the film you have just watched, and indeed from the 2012 Conference logo, the focus for Conference 2012 will be on Innovation, Inspiration and Recovery - to help you feed the future.

In view of the uncertain and ever-changing DH budgetary mandates the Conference Committee believe that the agenda for 2012 will be extensive, so they are planning two action packed days of Sessions, supported as always, by the integral and impressive Trade Exhibition.

The 2012 Committee is putting together a Programme that will challenge us all to work together smarter, and inspire us to go back to our workplaces to help create a better healthcare system that is modern, dynamic and can react to a changing environment.

And the 2012 Committee is not just asking you to ‘accept the challenge’ – they are leading by example by taking on an extra challenge themselves to personally visit all HCA Branches at the Branch meetings held throughout the year to spread the message and plans for Conference to all HCA Members.

So all you need to do now is to ‘Accept the Challenge’ and book your place for Thursday 26th and Friday 27th April 2012, for the 64th Annual National Conference of the Hospital Caterers Association, and ‘Feed the Future’.
