Sodexo partners with East Suffolk & North Essex Foundation Trust

East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust will partner with services provider Sodexo to deliver catering, cleaning, housekeeping, portering and security across the Trust’s two acute hospitals in Colchester and Ipswich.

The new five-year contract is scheduled to begin in April 2025. The contract will also cover community services in East Suffolk and North Essex. These include Aldeburgh, Felixstowe and Harwich Hospitals and Bluebird Lodge in Ipswich.

Nick Hulme, chief executive of East Suffolk & North Essex NHS Foundation Trust, said: “Working in partnership with Sodexo will help us to ensure the high standards of care and experience which patients and local people rightly expect. This is critical to our plans to transform services for local communities.”
